This washed SL28 lot comes from Giselle Garrido; which should sound familiar to you all! The Garrido family has been producing amazing coffees out of Panama for quite some time now and taking several Best of Panama 1st place finishes across multiple categories. 

This attention to detail is not spared in the SL28 lot; produced in the traditional Kenyan double-washed method. This is a true expression of how terroir can affect varietal tastes, as almost every other part, from picking to fermentation, has been held to as close a standard to Kenyan coffees as possible. Truly, such a unique expression of Terroir and Variety!

We taste:

An exceptionally sweet coffee fusing the fruitiness of Kenya’s SL28 with the florality Panama is known for. Expect a dynamic cup with notes of Watermelon, cantaloupe, tamarind candy and peppermint. A coating texture like olive oil and refreshing aftertaste create a uniquely herbal but sweet experience.
